Bayou Brew
Bayou Brawl was a Cuphead style Spinoff game made in Unity. It was made to include more elements of early Black and White animations with elements of grainy and fisheye lensed details.
The game focused on a very classic looking Cuphead Player Character moving around the screen deflecting projectiles through use of a parry and shooting at enemies to kill them.

Enemy

My contributions focused on level design, setting up the enemy AI integration, and the post processing VFX. I added heavy use of spirits and flies throughout the swamp level to give the feeling of overgrown and old voodoo belief within the level.
Along that the character travels on the back of a gator, jumping over hostile enemy gators to reach the next level. The player enters a circus and must dodge lions and hoops of fire, to reach the final level where they must dodge and parry thrown beads to finally beat the game. This was all helped along using a fisheye and grain filter to give the effect of an old TV.

Post Processing VFX

My efforts remained on the construction and development of the UX and Level building, with full control over the swamp level.
This project was a great way of expanding other qualities of different media into my level design and UX systems.
